By helping is distribute Snuggies, you are helping is in a number of ways. Sure, we make a little profit on them which we can direct towards looking after our patients. However, of more value to us is that you remember the story attached to the humble Snuggie.
“We Care” is our slogan, and that is the important thing to remember. The Suggie is a direct show of this, how we have helped our terminally ill patients with comfort and support. You can feel the same each time you use the warmth of a Snuggie, and hopefully remember that we have been providing comfort for thousands of patients over the last 40 years.
We recently performed over 100,000 interventions in a calendar year. All powered by our donors, partners and supporters like you. As we say, “Every Day Matters!” and so if it is us delivering a little care to you, or a lot of care to those in the last days of life; we don’t measure.
So, how do you help us? You help us by helping others; someone close to you, and those a little further away. You help us by being human, and by caring enough for other humans. In this case, it is those going through the natural process of dying, and because of your support, they can do so with the dignity, comfort and care they deserve… So thank you!
